CHINESE ASTROLOGY and the Four Pillars of Destiny

Is an extraordinary realistic method to objectively see oneself.

From a person’s date of birth a configuration of eight Chinese characters are formed and a chart comes to life with their energetic qualities.

It reveals a person’s character, their strengths, weaknesses, career paths, health and relationships. This is combined with the 10 year Cycles which are referred as Luck Pillars and each individual New Year brings on an element which has an impact on us in the above aspects.

It can motivate one to look at all aspects of our life, both personal habits and career life choices and perhaps deciding that “Life isn’t a dress rehearsal” it can propel one to take action, plan or just have good timing.  But most importantly having this knowledge of oneself is both meaningful and insightful.

The definition of Destiny means pre determined events, we can improve on ourselves from our experiences in areas that concern us but if we also pay attention to our destiny path which is more spiritual,  this assists one to go with the tide,  not against it giving one better outcomes.

The Chinese Astrology system is based upon the Solar Astrology of the cycle of the earth going around the sun. The year commences around 4th February yearly.  In comparison the western calendar which commences 1st January.

2010 The Year of Metal Tiger is the commencement of new wood season.  The nature of the wood element is like spring with new shoots rising and coming to the surface.
The energy influence for the year indicates new ideas and relates to vision in life.  However metal on top of wood represents restraint this is derived from the five elements cycle of metal chopping wood.

The effects can be that those who are advocating change will feel restricted.  In 2010 showing up will be young people, being that the Tiger likes to move and travel some of us will have the impulse to do that.
